Three Years Ago Today

A short poem for my beautiful wife to celebrate our anniversary.  I am thankful for the last three and am looking forward to however many more God gives us!

Three years ago today we were still two,

Moving toward one.

Preparations in place,

We still each had our space,

But the time of two was short.

The doors opened and there you were,

Glowing, beautiful, mine.

Glorious day flew, as well as the two.

Three years gone and we are one,

Moving toward Christ.
