10-19-09 – Righteousness is not simply determined by of the avoidance of sin. Rather, it is determined by pursuing to be in the light of Christ.

10-20-09 – Since God is the potter and we are the clay, we have nothing to worry about.  We are in the best possible hands.

10-26-09 – Don’t hold on to something you believe so tightly that, when proven wrong, all you can do is hold tighter to it.

10-30-09 – Being an adult is not about having the freedom to do whatever you want. Being an adult is about having the freedom to do whatever you want but excercising restraint, self control and knowledge to avoid things that aren’t smart. A child shoves candy in his mouth because it tastes good and he doesn’t know better. An adult knows the consequences of these actions and does not shove handfuls of candy in his mouth. An adult without self control is just a child in a bigger body.
