I have been saving for this game for a while and have been trying to talk my wife into letting me get it for even longer.  Well I finally got it last week and it is great.  The best part about the whole game is that my wife enjoys it as much as I do.  In fact, there have been a couple times that she has requested that we play it. This is a great way for us to have some fun together.

For those of you who don’t know, Rock Band is a music game that you can play with up to four people who can choose from four different instruments: guitar, bass, drums, or vocals.  We have already had some great jam sessions with friends and family and look forward to many more.

A quick note of caution to parents with kids.  Most of the language is bleeped out in the songs but an occasional one slips through.  Also, there is an occasional band member that isn’t dressed totally decently.  I guess that is what you would expect from a rock group but that doesn’t excuse it.  Other than those couple things the game is a blast for families.
