Recommendation

Have you Digoxin dose ever read Clomipramine a book Can fluoxetine Zestoretic get you high or watched a movie that you felt compelled to recommend to someone else? Or have you had an experience that you know someone would greatly enjoy or that their life would be fuller for experiencing it? When we experience something like this we inevitably want to share it with others that we know and love.
Why do we want to share these things? When I read a great book I want others to experience the same attachment I did with the characters and story. By the time I have finished, I have spent hours in their world getting to know these people and places and they have affected me. I feel strongly enough about this book that I will evangelize people to read it or I will go on and on about it hoping that someone will want to read it or at least know more about it. (There are some of you out there who know that I do this, maybe a little too much) And all of this for a book.
If I feel this way about a book how much more should I want to recommend Christ to people? And I find that I share a book with people much more often than I share Christ with them. Why is this? In order to recommend Christ to people I need to know reasons why He should be recommended. I won’t have these reasons unless I spend the time getting to know Him in such an intimate way that I can’t help but burst forth with a recommendation for Christ when I meet people. If I spent at least the time and effort that I do when I read a book to know Christ I would have these reasons. I can speak of how He has transformed my life, why I want to spend eternity with Him, and why he is so much better than anything this world can hope to offer. If I claim to be a follower of Christ I should be even more excited to recommend Him than any book I have read or movie I have watched. If I claim Him as Lord of my life then my actions should match what I say is in my heart.
This has been the aim of my Bible reading recently and I hope you will join me in this: to find qualities about my Lord I can recommend to people that will make them want to consider what He means for their lives. If I can recommend anything to people let it be something with eternal value. Let it be Christ.
If you were to recommend Christ to someone what words would you use? How would you create interest for Christ in someone who does not know Him?
Brian
