New Job
Here is a little bit of news you might be interested in: I am taking a new position with my current employer. I will be leaving the accounting department and heading to cost controls to be the lead biller on our largest project. This will put me on a two week billing cycle instead of the monthly closing schedule I had in accounting. The biggest change will potentially be time spent and the length of vacations I can take depending on how efficient I can be.
I have mixed emotions about this since I will be leaving a job I like and people I like to go to something I really don’t know. I suppose that is how we continue to stretch ourselves and grow. I am really looking forward to learning something new and making myself more valuable to the company in the process.
