Mat. 16:24

Will I take up my cross? That is the question that has been bugging me all morning. Am I willing to give up anything in my life for the sake of the cross of Christ? Several things kept popping up in my head and I kept thinking, “I don’t want to give that up, or that, or that.” What is wrong with me!? I know that those who are true followers of Christ will give up anything. I am not saying that it isn’t hard, but I don’t know if it should be. There is nothing that I have that is greater than Christ’s glory. So why do I insist on holding tight to things that are fading with this world?? I don’t understand! Please pray for me.
