Christ is our sufficiency

God has Cipro hc been revealing Lithium bromide truly amazing Pravastatin side effects things to Lithium polymer battery pack me in the past couple of weeks. Paul says it best in 2 Cor. 1:8-9: “We were so uttlerly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises from the dead.”
I have not even come to the point of “despairing life itself” but I have come to the point of despairing, like I am sure we all have. And it is in these moments that we decide where we put our trust. We have to ask ourselves where our sufficiency lies. Is it in us? Absolutly not. I have as much power as a flea attempting to stop a tsunami wave from making landfall. On the other hand, if our sufficiency is found in God, we will not be broken on the rocks. If we try to find the source for our happiness in other things and even in Gods gifts, we will be utterly disappointed. Am I focused on His gifts to me or am I focused solely on Him? If everything else in life is stripped away except for God will I continue to trust Him? If Christ is our sufficiency then we will never be disappointed. Even if a situation does not turn out the way we want it to. Even if all the ones we love on this earth are taken from us. Even if we die. And even if we live. “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Whether we live or we die, may Christ, and only Christ, be sufficient for us.
