A Wonderful Weekend
Let me tell you what I got to do this weekend.
- Trip to Metroplex
- Stay in a really cool hotel room
- Eat at Saltgrass Steakhouse
- Go to a Ranger game
- Guitar Center
- Half Price Books
All of this adds up to a great trip for the guys, right? I know I had a blast, but guess what. This was a trip for my wife! I know what you are thinking. “You selfish pig, taking her on a trip for you and disguising it as a trip for her!” Hold up a sec! It really was for her. All of it was stuff she wanted to do. You know what that means? I have an awesome wife!
It really was a surprise for her birthday. She really enjoys staying at hotels so I gave her that as her birthday gift (mainly as a diversion from her real gift). Then when we got to the hotel I gave her the Ranger hat my brother and sister-in-law got for her. And then I gave her her tickets to the game! She was so surprised! Had no idea it was coming.
