The Presidential Race
I have to admit that I did not keep up with the primary race at all. I did not know who all the candidates were or what they stood for. Now that the playing field has narrowed it will be much easier for me figure out how I need to vote. To be honest, there is no candidate that I am thrilled about. I know that I don’t want either of the Democrat candidates to win. I do not appreciate their social agendas at all. I am not too thrilled about McCain either. Considering that these seem to be our viable choices I don’t know what to do yet. I would love for another candidate to show up that I actually like that could win but I don’t think there is one out there. With all that said I have a couple questions for you.
Think about these questions. If you answered that it is very important to you who wins and you don’t know much about the candidates then you should probably do some research. I know that I need to. I believe that it is very important who wins, I just don’t know who yet. It looks like I am left with only one choice. Let me know if I am wrong.
Even if you are as let down as I am with our current political system I would encourage you to stay engaged. It is a privilage to be involved in our governmental system. Remember that we have a Congressional election coming up too. This is as important or more so than the Presidenial election (because of our candidates).

Welcome all! My name is Brian and I am glad you found your way here.
Brian,
Check out Ron Paul. He probably doesn’t stand a chance but his ideas resonate with me and I will be voting for him. Even if he doesn’t make it, we need to send a message.
Thanks for the comment Dwight. I have heard quite a bit about him from some of my other friends. I will definately do some research on Mr. Paul.
If you are in a write in site, write in Dr. Ron Paul. Of couse the MSM will not report on Paul or the real delegate work going on at the county conventions across the nation. Do not listen to the news… Google Ron Paul, youtube too!
I meant… in a write in state… should Ron Paul note get the GOP nomination.
